Dr. Mike Fiore is a board certified chiropractic orthopedist, having obtained his diplomate status with the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists (DABCO) in 1994 after completing an accredited training program and an evaluation, including an examination process both oral and written, designed to assess the knowledge, experience, and skills requisite to the provision of high quality patient care in the orthopedic specialty. Diplomates in chiropractic orthopedics possess particular qualifications in this specialty.
For his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Fiore graduated from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago) in 1985. Prior to this, he obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Human Biology from this institution. He received his pre-chiropractic education from Florida State College at Jacksonville and the University of North Florida.
Dr. Fiore was born and raised in Jacksonville, the son of a chiropractor--Dr. John Fiore--who, along with his brother, Dr. Joe Fiore, were two of the first chiropractic physicians in Jacksonville back in the 1950s. Dr. Mike, along with his brother, Dr. Tim Fiore, worked for five years under the expert tutelage of their father and uncle before they relocated to their own practices on the south side and in Orange Park, respectively.
After graduating from Bishop Kenny High School in 1975, Dr. Fiore served four years in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Sergeant (E-5) in just over two years. He spent the majority of his enlistment as a Marine Security Guard attached to US Embassies in Georgetown, Guyana and Lima, Peru.
Dr. Fiore has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care possible.
